Reflection of Glory

From time to time we tend to forget,
Our memory has become a faded silhouette;
Unable to recall thoughts we treasure,
Blocking sentiments of every measure.
It's these times we need that gentle reminder--
Needing someone to remove our mind's blinder.

When we feel like we're completely alone,
That's when we need that simple word--
That message of hope, life, and love,
Showering down from the Lord above.
It's then we know our prayers are heard,
And we can know that we're never alone.

We all need a reminder from time to time,
Usually when we face a very tough climb.
We need a reminder of His love and grace,
The comfort of His everlasting embrace.
The reminder that He is even yet alive,
And we can do more than just survive.
