Eternally Risen
He was the perfect One to walk the earth;
The blameless man--God even from birth.
Born with very specific purpose and goal,
Pay a debt and once again make us whole.
Each step of His life was utterly pure,
Leading up to a horrible death to endure.
There is no doubt that He did once die,
In the same turn He now is surely alive.
He was taken up to heaven, eternally risen,
Freeing saints from an everlasting prison.
He died for our sake, to rise once again;
Winning a battle for our souls endless domain.
Paying the debt we were to forever own,
Promising to never ever leave me alone.
Walking with us to acquire an immortal prize:
Our treasures in Heaven far above the skies.
For now He's seated at the Father's right hand,
Until His kingdom comes taking over this land.
For His work I give Him all the glory and praise,
To my very last breath my voice I'll raise.

The Day The Mountains Trembled
The Lord stepped His gentle foot on the earth
Knowing full well the task that laid ahead.
God and human-like, entering this world by birth,
Laying in a stable on a straw mattress bed.
Did anyone imagine Him one day rising from the dead?
Raised by a carpenter like his very own son,
This story was only beginning--there is much more.
Later on, His life-changing ministry had begun.
He spoke words that no one around could ignore.
Did anyone imagine what His life had in store?
Miracles were seen and heard during His outreach.
Some were in awe of His presence so mild and kind;
Others were captivated by the way He would preach.
With the goal to restore sight to the spiritually blind,
Did they really believe He was here to save mankind?
Then the time came that He was to die on the cross--
A terrible death that would make anyone's skin crawl.
Appearing to be the end, a final and eternal loss.
Was this the last chapter buried behind a stone wall?
Did anyone really think that He would again stand tall?
Three days past. Sure enough the tomb was empty.
Before too long this word of hope had spread.
He conquered the grave; to death He holds the key.
Forgiveness is ours because His blood was shed.
And like He said, He did it, He rose from the dead!

No Other Option
There's only one place you can find salvation,
Only one way to have everlasting celebration,
One who's the same through every generation--
Jesus Christ, God's only Son, my inspiration.
Much like many before, He lived, then died;
Buried in a tomb to be locked forever inside.
But three days later, alive, it can't be denied.
He conquered death, now heaven's open wide.
He can cleanse your heart and save our soul.
You can be renewed, restored and made whole.
Giving power to take back what the devil stole,
Submit to Jesus, give Him complete control.
There's no other option, Jesus is the only way.
Run into His loving open arms without delay.
Don't wait for a later time, go ahead and pray.
Remember, as for salvation, today is the day.
